Welcome to Seussville!

This is our Dr. Seuss inspired mural. There is Noun Town, Verb Village, Adjective Avenue, and Adverb Alley. First, we discussed all the nouns that could be found in a community and made them to fit our Dr. Seuss theme. Then we listed all the adjectives that would describe our people, places and things. Next, we brainstormed all the actions that were seen on our map. Last, we discussed where, when, and how all the actions could be done. The students really learned the parts of speech with this activity. Everyone loves to stop and read our mural. We learned while doing it and other students are learning as they stop and read!
